Burki + Vonage

Enterprise telephony with strong APAC and EU coverage.

Vonage (Nexmo) brings enterprise-grade telephony with particularly strong coverage in EMEA and APAC regions. Burki's Vonage adapter handles the Voice API media stream, NCCO routing, and DID inventory, exposing a unified interface alongside Twilio and Telnyx.

Why connect Vonage to Burki?

A voice AI assistant is only useful when it can connect to the rest of your stack. The Vonage integration helps Burki fit into the systems your team already uses for calling, transcription, reasoning, speech, routing, or customer data. That means the assistant can move from a demo into a production workflow without forcing you to replace your existing tools.

Burki keeps the integration flexible. You can run one assistant with Vonage, pair it with other providers for a full voice pipeline, and change providers later if your cost, latency, coverage, or quality requirements change. This is especially useful for teams that need different settings per assistant, region, campaign, or customer segment.

The result is a voice agent that is easier to operate: fewer hard-coded assumptions, clearer provider boundaries, and a pricing model that separates Burki's platform fee from the third-party services you already trust.

What you get with Burki + Vonage

  • Voice API integration with NCCO-based call control
  • Inbound + outbound calls via Vonage's global carrier network
  • Strong EU and APAC DID coverage for international deployments
  • WebSocket media streaming into Burki's STT/LLM/TTS pipeline
  • Number management + SMS hand-off via the same dashboard

When to choose Vonage

Choose Vonage when you have existing Vonage infrastructure, need specific regional DID coverage Vonage is strong in, or have enterprise contracts already negotiated with them. For pure US deployments, Telnyx tends to be cheaper.
